Cet accompagnement m’a été demandé par Chantal, une fidèle tipeuse à qui je ne peux pas dire non ! 😉 C’est une autre magnifique chanson de Grand Corps Malade, qu’il a écrite avec Richard Bohringer, et l’accompagnement de leur slam a été produit notamment par Ibrahim Maalouf, que j’admire énormément. Donc ce fut un plaisir d’adapter cette musique pour piano solo. L’ensemble est abordable pour les pianistes de niveau intermédiaire, mais la main droite va vous demander un peu de travail dans les doigtés afin de gérer les suites d’accords parfois assez inconfortables… Et cela représente un certain challenge également de faire monter l’intensité au fur et à mesure du morceau malgré le côté lancinant de l’accompagnement. Dans l’idéal, à jouer avec un slameur à vos côtés !

This accompaniment was asked of me by Chantal, a faithful tipeuse to whom I can’t say no! 😉 This is another magnificent song by the french slammer Grand Corps Malade, which he wrote with the french actor Richard Bohringer, and the accompaniment to their slam was produced in particular by Ibrahim Maalouf, whom I greatly admire. So it was a pleasure to adapt this music for solo piano. The set is affordable for intermediate level pianists, but the right hand will require a little work in the fingerings in order to manage the sometimes quite uncomfortable chord sequences… And it also represents a certain challenge to raise the intensity as the piece progresses despite the haunting side of the accompaniment. Ideally, to play with a slammer by your side !
